Most of all, Jesus himself was a Jew. I think people hate Jews, for the most part, because they are the chosen ones. They will be the first of God's children to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. The ignoramus's that frequent the DP anti-Semite Happy Hour, are just typically ill-informed, ignorant followers of the mantra that is, angry males with low IQ's. Throughout all of history, Jews have been the most hated people on the planet. Hell, Henry Ford was an anti-semite, as were a great many of the popular icons of history past that (made this country great). What I cannot figure out is in this PC world (particularly in the US) where you have to bend over backwards (no pun) literally to make sure you do not offend anyone who is gay without being somehow perceived a bigot or a racist, people still think it is ok to hate Jews. Gotta call blacks, African Americans (though 90% of them likely never set foot in or are from Africa) Gotta call Hispanics, Latino Americans (though 99.9% of them are not from Latin America) The list goes on and on. It's really annoying. I grew up in St. Louis when they just started to de-segregate schools. I remember some of my best friends, like Nancy Jackson, who was black, though I never called her, my black friend. She was "my friend". No one required silly titles, and no one felt this unending need to go out of their mind nuts attempting to insure that someone's feelings did not get hurt because they were not addressed by their respective religious/ethnic title. I'm gonna go out on a limb here... if not for liberals and their constant need to spread hate and bigotry, probably never even would have ever known Nancy was black, till they told me. Back then, we were pretty much all "Americans". One united people. Not a segregated bunch of ignorant buffoons intent upon regurgitating redundant anti this and anti that diatribe. I digress, but my point is, I have yet to see anyone in this country stick up for the "Nazarene Americans", or "Jerusalem Americans" or the "Jesus Americans". What about these folks? Why are they left out? Why do so many strive to hate them, while embracing terrorists? I'm gonna side with Ron White on this one. "You can't fix stupid."
I don't think it's just a matter of racism, though...it's extremely hard for me to trust the wholesale change of our government (with it's mixed views and people) to a more monolithic left-view of central and southern america via mass immigration. I can't imagine America with it's rather moderate (although not all the time) view on things being transfered to an extreme variant. I don't hate people from those countries, but I do dislike the political perspective on almost everything south of america....sometimes in america, too....lol
I guess I am old enough to realize that the Confederate Flag is not a symbol of racisim. But yes, most of rednecks in the south are indeed liberals. For almost 150 years now it has taken Republicans in power to undo things like "Colored Laundry" or "Colored Drinking Fountains" and "Colored Restrooms". Should I really go on? I've seen the Klu Klux Klan come into my community waving an American Flag, does that make the stars and stripes a "racist" flag as well?
This extremist-lefty-liberal site disagrees with you http://www.adl.org/hate_symbols/racist_confederate_flag.asp
lmao...the ADL. I still don't understand why many jews take the extreme left view. Almost to the point where they make speech unlawful e.g. place in europe. Other than slavery, I think the confederate view of government was somewhat more on the right track. Although I believe the civil war was stupid on both ends.
You think anyone who isnt supporting the bombings of innocents is an anti semite. Sorry but I have quite a few jewish friends and have even studied the Kaballah. As usual you dont have a clue. I think the bombing of innocent people is wrong, I dont think one side is morally absolved because of religious beliefs, skin colour, past persecutions or a belief that they are the chosen ones. This attitude of its us verus them and we need to kill them all, or wipe them off the face of the planet or reclaim our holy land or defend our faith, or defend our values, way of life, racial superiority, political views, family values and all this other bullshit just makes me mad. Its so fucking stupid and for people here to go say that EITHER side is justified is just retarded.
Gotta get that disclaimer in! "Ohh, I have some Jewish friends!" You ought to invite them over to read your posts here. Let's see how long they last as friends Us vs them, huh? You go with that. hezbollah and hamas are terrorist groups. So if you want to support them, that confirms what I already knew. They started this conflict, they hide behind civilians and they fire off rockets *only* at civilians in Israel. It's amazing how the few here that only attack Israel, defend hezbollah and hamas only (terrorist groups), feel compelled to make posts that they have Jewish friends and are for neither side. An emerging pattern of attempted deception. Unfortunately, they fail to realize the message all their other posts tell.
Gtech you really suck at taking my quotes out of context. You do realise that what I posted is written right above your post and that people can read it and see what I actually said. For someone who is pro life your a walking advert for abortion.
Take a look at the image in the lower left on that site. Amazing how meanings change throughout history: http://history1900s.about.com/cs/swastika/a/swastikahistory.htm Hitler chose the oldest known symbol in history as his own icon for the Nazi party and forever changed the perception of what the symbol once represented. As a result, when you see a swastika you are more likely to think "Nazi" more than anything else. I'm sure someone somewhere could warp the spiritual meaning of the cross if given enough time. If the Klan adopted and started using the Arizona flag long enough would that not too become a racist flag? It's pretty easy to see just how silly this is.
You're 100% correct, I am one of those people that "can read it and " I actually do "see what" you "actually said." Looks like Gtech hit the nail on the head. Comments like these really help nail your point home. Brilliant. You my friend are a friggin genius!
We could talk about if it's racist or not for the next year... many people think it's a racist symbol and others do not. Personally it's not a big deal to me who thinks it is or isn't, so no need to argue about it
That's because it is a symbol of racism, if you don't believe so I really don't care enough to argue about it, ignorance is bliss
