I am sorry to intervene but i have seen that you have a Web/Dir. Now how do you accept me to pay you 33.99 to get a featured listing into you directory when you don't know the difference between a decent and a fake directory. You don't have to answer
Cool down? Samdar, the guy is full of shit. I'm calling bullshit here and calling a spade a spade. If he's new he should not be handing out "expert" advice about a directory that has high pr cause of "hard work"... Read between the lines.
Agreed. People get obsessed with the green bar and tend to think its high quality and came out that way with hard work. Not many know where and how the hell those backlinks originate.
Look Mia I am sorry that I hand out an expert advice or wat.. I'm sorry again and I'm gonna take back my words.. Now don't get too harsh ...
http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1762582 http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Webmasters/thread?tid=0ca530776bca7e3f&hl=en This site owner has a long history of embedding links in the source of high PR (particularly PR9) .edu and government sites. The PR is valid, but complete and utter bullshit. He had a PR8 in under 60 days using these methods. It ceases to amaze me how google gets owned so easily. For all I know they tolerate it and in turn shit can the sites that list in it. Who knows. I've come to expect this crap from guys like http://forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php?u=76830
Did any of you noticed that they have atopdirs btopdirs dtopdirs gtopdirs clones all only 2 months old and all already have PR 9? Google Page Rank: 9/10 Google Back Links: n/a Google Indexed Pages: 2,320 Alexa Ranking: 4,606,500 Domain Age: 70days
Its Really amazing that Directory has good pr , do not know how and what he did but really awesome one but really want to know how we can get such high pr.
He embedded hidden links from high PR high profile .edu and government web sites. In other words, he cheated..
1. High PR does not mean what it once did. 2. Getting High PR should not be your only goal. 3. You don't get High PR by embedding links from high PR sites that have nothing to do with your site. I would suggest you employ a linking strategy that consists of listing in directories, similar / related web sites and Search Engines. Used to be the higher the PR the deeper the crawl. Seems today the higher the PR the more you can bilk someone for a link and potential shared link juice. I think concentrating on getting your site noticed, indexed and seen is primary. The PR is something that is completely secondary and will occur naturally as a result.
I’m surprised PR is still going. It’s a useless number that’s so easy to manipulate, I get embarrass when I think of how much time and money I used to spend casing it. Thanks Brian
it in not possible only those peoples can do where the aim in only get money with out profitable work
That's really amazing. In my opinion, seems it must have some PR9 or PR10 page from other domains directly linking to it, in order to have it go to PR9.
It is impossible for such directory to get High PR(9). All the stuff there is junk. And the Sponsored Links are junk as well as they got the High Pr as well. It is some kind of new technique to show high PR. The DMOZ has PR8. So now you can imagine how bullshit that is.
