PR7 when you read your GMAIL

hmmm..I wonder if it's any good to send an email to yourself with your link on it.. When people read their email, that page is a PR7 page.. Do you get credit for a PR7 link back?

 

Just use a bit of common sense - do you really think you're going to get a PR 7 link by sending an email to yourself?
Of course you bloody won't - emails don't have PageRank and search engines don't index them.

 

The PR you're seeing is probably for mail.google.com, it's just not updating after you log in.

Mailbox is a password protected page, and google doesnt crawls password protected pages.

Google does not access any webpage that is behind a username and password. So your email would not be crawled by any SE.

And, please never stop thinking and trying new things. That is the key to success in this industry. Keep trying.

 

How many backlinks do you have to your email address, that your email will be a PR7? It can not be.
