I have decided to sell one of websites.
I thought I would see if anyone here wanted to buy before I list it on Ebay.

    Type of Website: Resources
    Page Rank: PR7
Stats: Just moved servers recently and lost stats information :(
Revenue: ?? I do not channel and have sold no links
Why Selling: I do not have the time to give it TLC

All content is original, as I happen to be the writer. ;)

For a serious webmaster desiring to earn some money, this website has unlimited potential.

    Bids starting at $1500
    Increments $100
    BIN $7000

    Auctions ends: Friday October 28th.

For keyword search terms searched in September and a future page rank prediction you can view http://www.write4u.info/sale.html

For URL to website, please PM me.

    Thanks in advance,
    Serenity :)

Well, the site is earning something, but since I do not channel and I have over 30 websites I do not know how much it makes on its own. :)

Traffic was around 20,000 unique monthly before I switched servers.

    Hope this helps. :)

For such a considerable asking price, I really think you should have gathered revenue info by channeling, and also waited for at least a month's worth of concrete stats.

PM me the URL anyways. I'll have a look, and might be placing a bid, if all looks well.

Do you have screenshots of the 20,000 unique from before you changed servers. Even that would help.

Well, I think it's my responsibility to mention that I did a quick check and was able to figure out (in five minutes) that the PR is fake, and which site's PR is being displayed.

Since this is the whole basis of asking for 7k, and the site has little merit otherwise, I think it should be addressed right here in the thread.

    How can it be fake???

The interior pages are a pr2 but the front page is PR7.

I would not claim that it was a pr7 if it was not.

What tools are you guys using? All the tools I use show a PR7 and more backlinks than you are stating.

I tested on about 5 page rank checkers and also my toolbar. All say PR2. Sorry :(

Maybe you gave me the wrong URL.

That just doesn't happen to the 2nd level pages unless something tricky is going on. Why don't you just post the URL so we can all see it?

Something similar happened to me recently. Perhaps this is what happened to you. I had the domain www.multimedia-downloads.com registered for quite some time. The DNS on it was pointing to my server (I really didn't give it any thought since I was not doing anything with it at the time). When I did decide to do something with it, I changed everything over, put up the site, etc. At that time it was PR6. It surprised me because I had not gotten a single link to it at that point. Then when I started doing searches, I noticed it was actually showing as if it were www.mystikmedia.com, which is why it was PR6.

No tools. What I did is a link: command for your site. Came up with a bunch of results from the ucla.edu site!

Anyways, there was one outbound link on the ucla.edu page to isculptors.com.. I did a link: command search on that, and it had the exact same backlinks as your domain.

Well, your 35 backlinks are not enough for a PR7 :) agreed?

The PR7 which is being displayed right now on your homepage has nothing to do with those 35 backlinks.

Did you compair the two results I pasted above?

Well, just two hours ago Google was not displaying those results when I did the link: and it has been a PR7 for awhile. The same results were showing at Google, Yahoo and MSN, so how did that change in just two hours.

Here are the links I have in Google
    http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&q=%22www.publicsearch.info%22

Page rank is not only given for backlinks but on the original content, information, and the importance of the website. I am not trying to debate. I am not trying to fake anything. I am an honest person and am only trying to sell my PR7 website to someone that has the time to make money with it as I do not.

Pagerank is entirely a reflection of the quantity and quality of backlinks, and has nothing to do with orginal content at all.

It's possible that you weren't aware of the PR being a refection of the other site, and hense fake, but now it's become clear, so you should accept that. Just stop mentioning PR as a selling point entirely.

I check several ranking tools and they do infact show your site to be a true PR 7 . If it is not then I feel that it is google's fault ..! because everyone knows no one has control over google ranking and google would boot redirects before giving this rank..! You cant fake pr..! How ever I think google has got issues right now.. so if it still ranks this way next week I will give you a bid.:)
