This one's been around for a while be not to many people know about it. It's a little pricey at $79.99 but the categories are PR6.

its just not $79, its $79/year. other than business.com; its probably the most expensive out there. not so sure a directory link is worth the price.

With total of 8 back links in google and 9 in MSN, its strange to see the directory got PR7  .
I know google don't show all the backlinks but MSN shows most of them. Possibly a backlink from high PR site (perhaps PR9) might help this directory to reach PR7.

So if they lose those links they are PR0 right ? Thats the point. Why spend $79/year for listing in such directory which may not be secure.

It's all based on "building blocks". If there are a very few IBLs and one or more get taken away ... well, you know the rest. :)

I can testify that the site has been a PR7 for the last two years. The few sites that do link to it have a high PR.

directory 's value not only depends on PR....

Google guideline now prohibits advertising with higher PR, probably that why your directory got penalized to PR4...

actually i just checked the page rank of site-sift.com and it now shows a PR of 3. Their traffic seems to be falling too. I wanted to submit to them too but unsure now.
