    Regarding the 35k vaultage, several sales in the last couple of months are putting the going rate for vaultage at about $150-170/month per every 10k of vaults. This is how I arrived at the mid $xxx figure.

    Hosting is free till the end of 2006! So no worries at all about bandwidth or anything else of that nature.

    unfortunately you have to assume the $400 a month client is and will be gone.. there's no guarantees and not worth paying for osmeone who could be gone tommorow.. if they exist

    The site has close to 1,000/unique visitors a day. Added extremetracking to it the day before yesterday. The first full day closed at 924 unique visitors.

    Will keep the tracker up for the next two weeks (or as long as it takes to close the sale). I'll also be putting up Yahoo code for the next ten days. There are many many sites out there making in excess of $30/day from YPN with only 500-600 uniques a day. Will be interesting to see what kind of numbers come from YPN.

    You really need to take into account that this site is well established (over four years old and DMOZ listed), active, and has a member base of over 16k members. Hopefully, with the new numbers from Yahoo, people will be able to assess the value of teh site more better.

    That is just not true. This is not your normal link client. What he is paying for these three spots does not make up even 5% of his monthly link purchases. Besides, I took the trouble to ask him how long he will continue before mentioning the $400 in the opening post.
