If you were trying to submit a few hours ago - apologise... my hosting provider was doing database maintenance, so the site appears offline. We are back on! Also, I would like to inform you that I am doing article submission campaign that will last a week or so - expect more backlinks and traffic going to the directory... Thanks
So, I submitted to this, got an email saying it was being reviewed and then a few moments later it was rejected. Awesome. What a waste of time.
@Gcbeehler Sorry for wasting your precious time; it's called "human edited" - we also have stated in our submission guideline that we don't guarantee the approval of your link submission - so, if you don't want your time wasted, submit to automatically approved directories - there are plenty of 'em. Good day to you!
We've got plenty of pharm submissions - please bear in mind, this is a family-friendly directory - so no medications/pharmacy, gambling, adults, etc. sites, please... Thanks, guys!
Continue button not working. If I miss out any fields, it shows error. but it does n't show success msg. It is intact. Edit: After refreshing and filled the form. Clicked the Continue button twice and it worked. Thanks
@builtSEO - sorry for that... I don't know what's the issue is - I tried the submission process and everything works fine on my side. Thanks anyway for letting me know! Cheers!
I guess it's losing it's PR - oh well... I'm in the middle of doing link building campaigns - a bit too late I, I think. I hope it will go back up pretty soon!
Is it possable that you can add under 'Recreation' - Outdoors or Climbing please, if you do let me know, thanks.
I doubt that a PR 6 site goes down to PR 0 will again come back to PR 6 or even to PR 2-3 too. It seems that something went wrong with the site and it lost the PR. Frankly I never consider PR as a criteria to judge any website, if it has quality it is useful for me.
@ master-yoda: I have added "climbing" sub-category under "recreation" - thanks! @ CReed - hello again Yes - so it's on dropped domain. New directories on established domain name with PRs will ALWAYS be on expiring/dropped domain - all of us (should) know that fact Losing PR - This is not always the case, though - I have owned directories on dropped domains and maintain their PR. ...And I do manual approval and actually create new Categories for relevant link. I do move links to better categories. So, regardless of the dropped PR, I'd do the same editorial effort.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're trying to say? You make it sound like that you're basically just a link pimp trying to profit off of others here while the glitter lasts in the little green foolbar ?
@ CReed I'm not trying to scam anybody, but I don't think any answers would satisfy your desire for being sarcastic - I remember that 2 years ago you called me link pimp... so it's not a new thing to me. If I was a link pimp, so what? Many has built successful directories on established domain names with high PageRank - so you are also considering them as link pimps? This thread is offering a free listing... so, to please you - I'm not legally a link pimp, yet. If you are referring to my editorial policy, what I meant was that many directory owners neglect their directories once the so-called foolbar shows zero or even turned into a grey bar. I was just saying that I won't do that. I hope this pleases you?
I don't know what's wrong with dropped domain. If you can search, 80% of the new directory submit to digitalpoint everyday is from dropped domain. Here's the cycle: They buy high PR domain (That's why we have domains section here in DP) -> They build website -> They advertise / promote so others can come -> Others trying to rip off True there are a lot of case bad people using that to scam others money but if we are offering something for free that's a totally different idea. I'm just saying some people really have a lot of free time or they just don't know anything about webmaster ? I guess that's one of the reason domainer won't never be the same.
