Sorry, this isn't a sale. I was simply wondering how much something like this would sell for (general estimate). I didn't know where else to post it, this seemed like the most fitting place. Anyhow...how much do sites like this go for?

    PR6 domain
    $30 / mo. in adsense
80% of traffic comes from direct address
20% comes from search engines (mainly google)

Without knowing more than what you posted I wouldn't pay more than $300-400.

But it is very dependent on a lot of other factors like:
    - the topic
    - how much activity there is in the forum
    - how much traffic there is
    - how much content there currently is in the forum
    - how well you're making money from it - and through what
    - whether or not it has a unique design

And there is even more that could be taken into consideration - it really depends on the complete site, so you would have to tell us more, or give a URL to the site. Otherwise nobody is able to give you a good estimate.

About the same from me too. It also depend on if you do an auction and how many interested users there are that want to start a war :D $30/mo isn't to bad Could make you a few hundred bucks in auction.

Btw, the *best* place to post this might be in Site Review, but I'm unsure.

If it is a genuine PR6 with lots of quality backlinks, I would say the site would be worth at least $1200.

Also depends on how many users it has and daily posts, that will bump up the price, defo XXXX range tho I would say if it's PR6 and fairly popular.

If it's in my area, I'd pay over $1000.
The main factors for me is the topic and how many uniques. Most sites using adsense haven't properly monetised them anyway, so revenue/month doesn't sway me.

Well if the PR is legit and it depends on the income history of the site... may be $1200 - $1500 depends on the number of back link

    Don't sell your site.

Sell paid links. Combine that income with the Adsense cash you'll get after better positioning the ads and you'll make far more than you would selling it for one lump sum.

    PR6 domain
    40-50 posts per day
    120 visits per day
    $30 / mo. in adsense
80% of traffic comes from direct address
20% comes from search engines (mainly google)

The site is only been up for 2 months. Before that the forums were up, but not maintained. After getting the word out, this is the result.

    Still $300 - $400?

PR6 in two months means nothing close to anything organic.

Besides once a site is sold it could lose PR, typically will. I would never buy a forum based on PR. I would buy it based on topic, # of members and traffic.
