Who is CB anyway? and what the site is about?
Christian is a phpbb forum style developer. If you've been online awhile and go to a lot of forums I'm sure you've seen his work before. Upon completion of the custom forum style of forumpromotion.net he became widely known as the guy to go to for an amazing phpbb style. After who knows how many volunteer coding and style jobs for little donations this site was born. A site that is for website owners and forum owners to get quotes on getting custom website design work done and for releasing of both graphics, style, and website development tutorials. Nowadays through email it gets regular quote requests for websites and forum custom styles to be done from people who want the CB brand on their footer. The requests range from a trucking/shipping companies(lnhtransport.com/) to Mattress Reviews(mattressreviews.com/forum/).

Tell me about the traffic vs. sales and PR?
The majority of the backlinks come from 2 main sources:
1. All purchased design work has the url and name on the footer of the new site.(explains why it gets such a good visitor per sales conversion and the PR)
2. CB released a free custom phpbb style called "Absolution" which made him practically famous within the whole phpbb community. It is submitted at the following sites:

• In site downloads 2,602

Brings a total of 71,604 downloads(explains the PR and Alexa Rank)

What is the traffic stats?
-For 2011 it averaged 4,500/UV/M to 5,500/UV/M
-For 2012 it averages 5,000/UV/M to 5,900/UV/M
-referring counties: Us, cn, nl, gb, ru, ca

Where is the revenue come from?
There are 3 main sources of revenue the the site generate(and adsense which isn't really worth mentioning).
1. Sales of website/forum styles is the main income. Its been getting continuous sales on custom work for about a year now with absolutely zero promotion. There are so many positive reviews and footer links on the design work that has come from CB that people just enter and ask for a quote. The estimate value depends on what type of job it is but base price is $395(usually just a forum style) and can go up as far as $1,200. It also depends on the company that is looking for the website design. The ratio of successful sales towards quote requests is roughly 4/5.
2. Link sales. CB is a stable pr6. I've been selling links directly through the DP link selling forum and V7N. I've only started to sell links for about a year now and every since the first 15days almost all links have been sold. There is room for 15 on the side panel and 5 on the footer. They sell for $21/M. It seems high but because of the quality of the site they sell with little to no effort.(I believe there is a 3 spots left now)
After Paypal charges this is the total money taken from custom website jobs and link sales:

• Oct 2011: $762.48 (not available in screenshots unless requested by current active bidders)
• Nov 2011: $851.47 (not available in screenshots unless requested by current active bidders)
• Dec 2011: $558.69 (not available in screenshots unless requested by current active bidders)
• Jan 2012: $1,009.52
• Feb 2012: $96
• March 2012: $1,531.83
• April 2012: $1,640.04
• May 2012 so far: $437.81 (partial down payment expected 2nd payment of $318.28 next week)

3. The rest is all nickles and dimes. Adsense pays maybe $7/per month, there is the rare $5-$50 donation as well.

What is the potential?
I know....I know. I hate the word potential too, but it has to be said to explain what can be done. It all depends on what you are looking to get out of CB and your skills to take it to the next level, but here's a few tips for the possible buyer:
1. CB gets regular buyers for requests to create custom phpbb styles and website designs. For the most part they are custom phpbb forum styles but there is a few website styles here and there. Depending on your skills I would recommend pushing forward to offer custom graphics banners, logos, and add in the portfolio. Also depending on your skill jump into doing custom VB forum designs, etc. The price requests will pour in. Right now there is 1 to 3 jobs per month which is enough for a single website designer to handle but its only been increasing every quarter and if you do show that you are ready to do other work I'm sure there will be a HUGE increase of custom job requests.
2. Completely get rid of adsense and sell the banner spots independently. The PR, alexa, and traffic is there so it should be a breeze to sell of the spots, and make much more money.

Elaborate on the Auction/prices and bidder requirements?
If you are interested in buying I would assume you are a website designer who is looking for stable work for the rest of your life. Obviously I cannot control and don't really care what you intend to use the site for. There is the possibility you just want to high PR which will stay for years if nothing is done. But without being able to do the work for the design requests you do lose that profit.
I also realize that the domain doesn't really sound suitable for anyone but a guy named christian but I really don't see much of an issue. Trucking companies get designs done. The site has gone far away from people actually knowing the owner. Random people just see the work done in other sites from the CB website and come by to get a job done for their own. I really wouldn't worry about it.The BIN is 16X the current monthly revenue(obo). I know that typically sites sell for 12X the revenue but it is not uncommon for a website that makes high profit that has been established for a really long time to ask for more.
If you have zero itrader and no reputation you will be required to put a down payment of $500/non refundable instantly after you won the auction. I also will be removing bogus bids if I notice that a bidder throws a 10K bid on here then in some other topic they are like "looking for $100 investor"(lol).
Confirmed buyer gets the website, exclusive rights to all tutorials in the site, and the full rights to "Absolution".

At any time I reserve the right to sell to the highest bidder on their agreement during the auction if there is no further interest.
Payment will go through Escrow for both of our security.

Everyone keeps sending private messages with the same question so I might as well clear things up right here.

The website/phpbb custom designs are not outsourced. Majority of jobs requested are websites attached to a matching phpbb forum. If you cannot make websites or do not have your own plan for the site then this site will be a little over your head. (Just a fair warning)

All you're really paying for is a PR6 domain, which is not work anywhere near the current $8k bid.

Only wants to use Escrow since there is absolutely no protection for the buyer, send the payment and you'll never be able to get it back.

I have 97 positive itrader by people claiming I paid them and/or did work when they paid and are happy. I've also done more than 300 unitraded positive transactions at DP.
