Some other things about it:
-the blog was dropped (meaning that the previous owner decided to stop using it and he abandoned his typepad account) but this happened recently and didn't affect the site's rankings
-the blog topic was: helping people improve their quality of life by using information technology.
-typepad offers only paid accounts starting from $5/month or $50/year - you will have to pay this fee to keep the blog

It seems Google is crawling the blog very fast. It cached some of the new pages I created in less than an hour.

The traffic the blog received by now is on average 10.67 visits/day. Absolutely no promotion was done.

Starting price is $150, BIN price is $800. There is a reserve. The auction will end in 3 days.
If you find this much consider that just a PR7 .edu link for a year will cost more than the BIN. And none of this site's links are paid which is a great plus!

No, the blog was owned previously by a non-profit organization so this pretty much explains it.
Since they dropped it and I it I did nothing to promote it, just recreated some of the pages for Google because my time is spent on other projects. This is the main reason I'm selling it.

Yes, all the subpages are included.

Some words about typepad: it's a professional blog management solution, very easy to use and very simple with more features than the free solutions.
Some of the things that I liked: basic statistics included, you can upload your own html files on their server, they can ping most known blog monitoring services automatically when you make a new post.
