PR5 with 8,500 pages

    I am trying to get a fix on how the weight is actually calculated. I have a site with a pr5 and 8,500 pages in the Google API. Shouldn't my weight be around 40,000. It is currently around 7,000.

    And I have many other pages on my site with PR 2 - 5 how does this effect weight.

    Why would a PR5 site with only 8,500 pages get 40k in weight?

    Maybe I read it wrong, but I thought weight was calculated like:

    PR X Google API pages = weight

    I will try and find where I saw this at.

    It is a bit more complicated than that. And anyway, the API has been fucked up for a long time, so no real use on trying to caluclate anything.

    However, by my experience in the network I would say that the 7k weight you are getting would be what I would expect for such a site.
