PR5 Web Design Forum - Designers Lobby

    URL: http://www.designerslobby.com

    Age of site (months): 13

    Monthly revenue: 0

    Revenue details:
I've never put a paid advert on the site. The advertising you'll see in the top right are forum members' own websites.

    Monthly page views: 150,000

    Traffic details:
150,000 monthly page views are averaged over the last 5 months. The overall average since starting is 100,000 page views per month (given that we started with zero).

There are quite a lot of robots in there. Up to 90% robots right now what with Yahoo Slurp on it's usual free for all, and Google desperately trying to reindex all the pages it lost when it went Big Daddy (Google used to have 30,000 pages indexed).

I've got Urchin stats, analog (which I prefer) and vBulletin's own stats. Post if you want some data crunching doing and I'll post screenshots of the results.

Disc usage is currently 204Mb, and bandwidth alocation 2,500Mb per month.

    Description:
I'm very fond of Designers Lobby. I've run the forum since last April but I've never found the time to build traffic.

There's an article section with 35 unique articles that attracts some decent traffic. It's linked from a few article sites.

The vBulletin licence is not included in the sale. Last time I looked the owned licence was $160.

For the last year the same 10 or so regulars have been on the forum every day helping people out. They've got some real skill.

I dropped out suddenly due to an eye injury at the start of last month. Posting on the forum slowed and then stopped completely.

I enjoy the forum, and have a lot of respect for the people who post there. I'm keen to pass the forum to someone with the time and ability to take the forum to a new level.

    Price (or starting bid): 100

    Is an auction?: Yes

    Indexed pages (Google): 1980

    Indexed pages (Yahoo): 26300

    Google page rank: 5

    Alexa site rank: 5,462,934

Some pretty graphs from Urchin stats:

I'll be happy to supply any other graphs you need. The site is also advertised on sitepoint and we're up to $150.

Thanks for the bid. Although we're up to a heady $150 on sitepoint so far. Auction has got another couple of weeks to run, and I'm really keen to sell to someone with a real interest in what is good for the forum.

I'm planning to run until the auction about 2nd April. I don't have a BIN price. I'm hoping to pass the $1000 mark but would be surprised if we pass $2000, so I guess $1500 is a BIN price for a bidder who will look after the forum.

I've had 3 offers by PM (all responded to) to end the auction at $500, but I'm keen to keep the auction going for now.

I'll take it for the $1500 BIN that was posted at sitepoint. SOLD
