PR5 Tech News site / blog for sale

Hi,
I want to sell my PR5 tech site TechBulletin, I had plans to grow the site but due to time constraints I could not give much of time on it.

The site lists well in google, Following are the details:

Pages Indexed by Google: 278

Pages Link to the site: 52

Site runs on Wordpress 2.0.2

I am willing to sell it off from $300 (Min price) but I am open to bids (The site will be sold to highest bidder)

Update: BIN Price is $1500

Do let me know if anyone is interested. (I will transfer the domain and site content to the new owner, will keep the web space with me since I have couple of more sites on it)

I thought jimkarter had met the BIN price? Surely it's not fair to bid afterwards?

 

Just a quick update...I just call from a person he is willing to pay $500 but he is not registred on the site so I am not sure what should I do...do you guys have any exp. in this? I am toally new in this thing...

 

is it? I have no idea about the rules of it....if thats the rule then I will sell it to him only...I am doing this for the first time...

 

I'm not entirely sure, but if you post a price you'll sell for and someone says they will have it for that then surely it's theirs.... Obviously you want as much as possible for your site so I'm not sure what the deal is. Hopefully someone here will be able to shed some light on it.

Generally it's frowned upon if a BIN has been met and the seller refuses to sell it. Not unless there is some amicable arrangement made between all parties...

 

If you post a BIN (Buy It Now) and somebody offers that you should sell it to them IMO, in hindsight you should probably of set a higher BIN

Hi,
I just cleard the issue with T0PS3O, he said I can clear the misunderstanding here.Basically what I meant what I can sell it off from $300 and open to bids, i.e. if someone bids higher than $300 then the site will be of that person. The min. bid will be $300.

I am really really sorry about the confusion, I didnt mean to hurt anyone but it just happened out of mistake.

I read the $300 in the first post as the reserve. OP doesn't mention a BIN explicitely so IMO this is just an auction. Anyway, up to the seller of course but I wouldn't feel obliged to sell at $300 just because someone yelled 'sold'.

And PS, you're not obliged to sell to DP members only. If you can safely do the transaction outside of DP then go right ahead (after you cleared up the confusion about BIN or not).

 

So is there a BIN price yet?
