Adsense income is only a part of the income. If you were to use the 27K wisely you could generate $100/day just from the weight.

The site generates $2000/month on its own, add to this the money you can make with the coop weight and you are looking at $4000-$5000/month

The ad network is definitely good advertising, but I'd like to see how it can be worth that much too. Or are they talking about sentimental value?!

 

The 27k weight can be worth several thousand a month, but the pages that it points to need to be on a domain which is old and already ranking well for its own keywords.

What I can say from experience is with a good three year old PR6 domain (any industry), and 27k weight, an extra $100/day can be easily achieved in the short term.

Bourbon-type filters can hit any-time, and this $100/day will then drop to $10/day.
