ok well there is only about 6 hours left and i do not think the auction will get to the minimum amount i would like for the site within that time. Given the cost of the script, purchased content, time spent working and modding the site, directory submissions, traffic, income, and PR $1700 is just not high enough for me to part with it.

If anyone is still interested in purchasing I will consider any offer of $3k or higher

 

with around 2.5k uniques per day (and the PR/unique content), it definitely should not go for less than $2500

 

Although yes the site should sell for 1yr of revenue. The problem is the myspace market is way too volatile to shell out any more than 6mo of revenue for this site because if the buyer/you don't update the site, the visitors leave and then its almost worthless. So basically its worth 1yr of revenue but you have to subtract the time/cost associated with running a site like this for a year.

 

This site is really easy to update, if you buy a pack of MSRS ready layouts you can upload and add 25 new layouts to the site in 5 minutes. The hosting is free for till February 2008 and at its current visitors it does not exceed the allowed monthly bandwidth so 1yr of revenue minus costs minus time needed to updated the site would still be at least 9 months worth of revenue...also this site is a NON myspace domain so it cannot be given a C&D from myspace

Too expensive. Also, you should make it more clear your minimum offer because it wastes everyones time to submit offers if they aren't even close to what you want.

 

Actually my starting bid was closer to what i wanted but people said it was to high and to start it lower and let it get bid up so i did that, and if you think its to expensive you obviously do not know how do determine the value of a site

 

If I remember correctly, your starting bid was around $1200 before you changed it, at which point I bid $1500... You're currently being offered $2300 by me, so what starting value are you referring to?

 

when i first posted my starting bid it was $1800 but i lowered it $600 to $1200

Thank you, the site has had alot of SEO work on it and alot of link building went into it which is part of the reason for the cost. This is not some site where I just through up a turnkey and did a few link exchanges this site has taken alot of work to get where its at in terms of SEO and modding.

 

where on the site do you sell advertising?

 

the top right corner where it says featured links, but there are no paid advertisers there for this month just a link to myspacesupport.com for a link exchange since they have much higher traffic and the other one is to my other smaller site.

 

i have recieved PM's from about 4 people saying they are interested but think $3k is to high. As such I will consider any future offers of $2500 or more

 

I have what may be a dumb question.

The layouts I examined on LayoutsCube appear rely on graphics components from acutemyspacelayout.com and fdots.com.

I don't see any information on their web sites regarding acceptable usage. What is the licensing required with these files?
