The easiest way to tell, is to look up backlinks, and check to see if they actually link to this domain. In this case, they don't. None of the backlinks that are showing for this domain actually link to this domain.

that only one which has been there for long time and I have no clue why is there sth like that.
but you said none of the back links, there are around 200 of them.
what is your aim? just ruin my sale, because you are selling pr5 on the other thread? are you? you know that all that links point to my domain, but by writing that you ruin everything. I should report you.

I'm just pointing out the obvious. The PR looks forged.

You asked me to give you an example where a backlink does not link to this site. I did just that.

I still think the domain has some value, and you've got a pretty nice template on it, so you still might be able to salvage some value out of it. But if you are going to try to sell a domain based on PR value, then I think it's only fair that people point out when they are suspicious. This one definitely is. Wonder why it doesn't show up with the 'info' command? http://www.google.com/search?q=info...s=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a
That's another MAJOR red flag. There are at least a dozen Pagerank validation tools out there that will show this domain as forged or suspicious. Want me to post them for you too, or do you know how to do your own research?

Report me all you want. You might just end up getting yourself banned for selling domains under false pretenses.

you claimed none of around 200 links were valid, but failed to prove that claim.
dropped domains always loose info and get it back after a while, everyone knows that. there is other sign of domain being forget, or suspicious.
    oh whatever,

you and I both know that this domain is okay but your only aim is to ruin the sale.
you always get the buyer for this good domain, what you do is real shame.

I only brought it up because I was interested in it. I have several PR5 and one PR6 Travel/Vacation websites, and I was interested in adding another. I only found that this one was suspicious after doing research on the domain. Believe me, if I thought the domain was good, I'd have bought it. It's certainly listed cheap enough.

If you really believe this is a good domain, then I feel a little sorry for you for not knowing what you were getting into. But, if you are selling this suspicious domain knowing the pagerank is forged, then what you do is a real shame.

Anyways, best of luck with the sale. I won't post anything further here. I think I've proven my point.

you still could not show any sign other than one link why you thought the domain is bad but you keep talking.
got a buyer on msn but never thought that a man can be this scandalist.
anyway, yeah you proved your point, go ahead...

Wow, fun argument. I agree with Selectsplat, it definitely looks forged. :(
