well.. actually I am! Just bought dmoz from Netscape, you might have seen that thread, where they were selling their directory, but it's all spam and child porn, so no one else wanted to bid lol
    It still shows
but it will be updated soon to
after I send them the money by paypal :D :D

PS: I'm accepting paid inclusion offers! Get 100 sites listed in dmoz for just $0.43, I know that's quite a lot for a low quality directory, but we'll work to increase traffic and pr... :p

Yeah I know not all of you is DMOZ editor. But what had happened to a member here 'Jewellery' is not what he expected. He had carefully send the URL via PM, but yet in the end his domain still got delisted.

So, I think it is the best way to present it this way. I give 100% refund if what I mentioned is not based on fact. Additionally, I also give a guarantee to the buyer that when he types in the exact word in google which is the domain itself, he will see a page with full of adwords ads.

But the bidding was going on in this forum. There was no BIN price set. I was the highest bidder. Then how and when the domain got sold? :(

Personally DMOZ removal may have been more to do with the "coming soon" on that site, than anything else.

By not posting the url in a sales thread you lose money by getting (much) less for it than you might otherwise have achieved IMHO
I can understand not wanting to come up in searches & search engines for the url, but just typing d-o-m-a-i-n . c-o-m solves that...
