I am selling my PR 5 website with a meaningful domain name, it is a general blog with all sort of discussions. It has 45 published posts that are well indexed. I am selling this because I need to buy another forum which I been planning for years.

Hmm I did a backlink check on the domain name. The backlinks it has doesn't justify how the domain gets PR 5 really..Any explanation of this? Also I did a check on all the categories and none of them has any PR at all, only the homepage has PR. When did you set up the blog on this domain?

$106 placed. This website is a valid PR5 IMHO. However nobody is forcing you to buy it if you think its fake. Simple as that.

 

Selling recently installed blogs on dropped domains seems to be quite a popular business. My condolences to te buyer.

 

WoW you joined back early 2006 and you have yet no idea how to detect
if a website is a fake PR or a real PR.

1. The pagerank is valid because it shows the exact URL he is showing, it is showing wrong TITLE.

You have to really study SEO and googling to understand how things work.

And it is a PR 0 domain.

Fake PR happens with 300-301 redirect. I will not teach you the whole process so that you build 1000-2000 fake pagerank profile but basically its a redirect.

Now considering you are saying it is fake then we will have to go to the URL that the website shows.

It shows URL as www.providenceconnects.org
AND THAT IS THE WEBSITE HE IS SELLING.

Tarun is not selling providenceconnects.com he is also selling .org
The website you are using it is checking the TITLE.

hi, thank your for your detailed explaination, i am only curious about how the checkpagerank.net system works. btw, why did the Site Title show your domain? when it should show "Connections Blog 2 Blog" ? how are you affiliated with tarunkumar_model ? Please do not be offended (you sounds offended) as i am asking questions deem to the stand of buyers. Of course, buyers would want to know more about things that they were intending to buy.

 

Because I sold the site to Tarun and Tarun has promoted well over 10-20 blogs of mine for very good cost. And I hate being called someone doing FAKE stuff.

Lastly, I am not sure about checkpagerank.net.
I think PR system is owned by Google not that website, You have to learn google commands and you will see what google actually shows for the domain.
That checkpagerank.net has some bugs, last time I checked google.com it showed fake pagerank for it 2 hours later it showed valid. Same thing happened with a recent website I bought from a DP guy who had a valid pr and this website was showing it fake, we had to get google customer help and after 2 days that checkpagerank.net showed it valid.

I have emailed the owner of the website few times about the issue I have yet to get a reply from him...

 

Checkpagerank.net has many bugs.. If you are a serious buyer those tools are should just be your side tool not your main tool.
