I have a pr5 blog that made about $100 in the last 4 days with paid postings. The paid posting business is pretty steady - after someone orders an article and it is posted, the thread I use to sell in gets bumped and I get more sales. Each paid post gets $15 profit. The url is crankyrants.com and rustybricks.com predicts it will be a pr6. Could someone give me an estimate of what it is worth today? Also, should I have more of a history to sell it?
one main thing you'll need to get a good price is to go and establish proof of your unique hits at the site. but it seem to probably worth about $700 to the average buyer if you can prove your profits that you showed in the first post are holding for a month. Of course you can push $1000 to a un-smart buyer.
The predictions I've seen from the tool you're using appear to be inflated. It predicts one of our sites as a PR8 - (are you interested?) As it's a domain name that you recently bought (June 8) with existing PageRank, you might have to do a bit of work to maintain the PR. If it were me, I'd guess that some of the links could be lost when people linking to this site update their links. I wouldn't be sure of what to base the value on - sales over a period of 4 days? Traffic over 10 days? Toolbar PR from the previous owner? How much would you be willing to pay for this site?
