Ok, not a dropped domain. You shouldnt advertise as a PR5 directory. Its really a directory on a PR5 domains. You need to go more pro. Get some categories up. Tell us how you will promote it and hold the page rank. I dont pay $5 to submit to a dead site you see
Thanks for the tipps ! I mentioned the dropped domain because I saw a lot of these "PRx directories" around. I will install a nice design very soon, but the categories will stay like this - all my other directories (http://www.kahuki.com/about.php) have hundreds of categories ... thats why I want to keep this one simple. I do a lot of promotion and linkbuilding for all of my sites and I think my itrader proves that I'm not here for a quick buck
Categories are more professional. It means links are coming from related content and other related links. using letters is unprofessional and lazy. i advise you add categories if you want more submissions
Can't agree more Mike! Its true adding categories gives a real professional look and will get you tons of submissions as well, Having a simple layout with no directories will atleast limit the number of your submissions because for instance me (I would submit to Blog categories rather than any Alphabetic category where any other site could outbid me and come to the top and even not related) ..... On the other hand for the end user it kinda gets really tough to find what he is finding because alphabets are meaningless and categories do mean something My 2 cents~
It is ok for me, if I have a limited number of submissions- as I stated above, I already have 9 other webdirectories and I want to try something new this time. I do not force anyone to submit to this directory, so you can keep your $5 and buy a beer, if you think the submission is not worth it
