The PR depends in the backlinks which you get by the other sites(specially the Spiders which get)
IF you continue to get links, then NO,your PR will not decrease

your rankings might be effected because at the moment I am assuming most of your backlinks are for terms related to info & knoledge, allowing you to rank for these searches.

However if you change the content to article submission then your audience will search G for article submission related key words and you have no or little back links for these keywords.

High PR will not get you the highest Google rank, you have to have the correct keywords in your backlinks.

Yes, it's possible because your backlinks will surely decrease. Google indexed only quality links and your backlinks would also depend on the relevancy of the links from the content. If the site decrease its backlinks your PR will also decrease.

No, PR affects the backlinks of the site, but your SE rankings may be affected. :D

Ofcourse your PR will decrease. Google looks for quality backlinks and they count the surrounding text too!. so have more backlinks related to the topic.....thats the best option.

In which case, no body would actually pick any dropped domains with PR at all. So guess it doesn't work like that ;)

    Go figure :)

If you'll change your site in the time the google updates PR, and you still did not made the links you have before (links you acquire when the site still offers tutorials), you're PR will definitely decrease. I had seen your site and I think there is no problem if you don't delete the existing pages even if you add an article submission subfolder. In fact, your site and its new pages will be indexed quickly due to fresh contents.

    My two cents worth...

no, if you change your site content , your page rank will not be effected. pr is related only backlinks. your content is not a criteria for the pr
