I've done this in the past and had some good experience with it. I've got 30+ reviews on my blog that I did back in the day, and I enjoy writing about other sites and giving tips to webmasters for ways to change their site for a more user friendly enviorment. Reviews I've done: The Best of The Web I try to do as much relevant keywords, describing your site's niche or your business plan. I'm going to change it up, format it the same trying to be as thorough as I can. I also will add links to internal pages with anchor texts relating to the page. I charge $7 for a PR4 blog post, that are written like the ones above with a site logo and as much as I can write a site about. I'm hoping to get about 30-35 more sites to write about, and I try to post 1-2 a day (tops). I write most in advance and have them set for a specific date to be posted. You can also tell me the direction you want me to go with, be it commenting on comment, layout, design, search engine optimization of the site -- you name it, and I'll try my best to work with you and your specific niche.
