I am interested but wonder what do you consider authority sites and never heard of Angela Edward so not sure that is anything of any significance.

Please clarify the authority site aspect. By the way if you are referring to social bookmarking sites few, if any could be labeled authority, just to save us some time.

 

These are NOT social bookmarking sites. An example of a site where a backlink would be placed is WebMD.com. This is an AUTHORITY SITE for the health/medical niche.

 

Fair enough. Do you research the niche for the sites to ensure relevancy?

I can't give a definitive answer about the exact effect that these backlinks would have on your site as I'm not inside of Google's algorithm. Some people using Angela's method have noticed an increase in their SERPs within just a couple of days, however. As far as PageRank is concerned, backlinks do play an important role in determining such, but it's not the sole factor that decides it. As with any backlink, however, dofollow links can help to increase your PageRank.
