I’m selling a new site/business that I just finished constructing a couple months ago. I have no time to support or promote it since I’m working for a new company now and on a new project. It needs someone who can take it big and compete with lovemyflash.com

    The site is:

    http://www.rubburlayouts.com
    http://www.rubberlayouts.com

It’s a completely new and innovative, MySpace div overlay layout generator. To my knowledge, there are no other similar sites out there, and it’s built to be completely viral with a lot of branding. Again, it’s meant to compete with lovemyflash.com, but with a similar structure of layouts as what most MySpace users are used to (and increases page views)

Here is a sample of what the generator creates:

    http://www.myspace.com/rubburlayouts

    The site is a PR4.

Almost every one of the more than 500 layouts are completely done by myself, with the exception of about 70 or so purchased from a seller (celebrities and sports categories). I have received permission for every photo, graphic, flash widget, brush, and font set (dingbats too) on the site and layouts.

The site is already receiving a steady 100uv/day with about no promotion. Of course, the Adsense revenue is negligible right now since the site was designed for CPM ads anyway and I never got to optimizing them yet or signing up to different networks. I planned on signing-up to valueclick media or something similar.

According to the original goal setting I put inside the Google Analytics Goals settings, there have been 620 successful layout conversions since November 18th. This is as close as I can come to estimating how many people have a “Rubbur” Layout.

From Nov 19th to now, the average time on the site is 4 minutes.

    In December 2007:
    3,318 Unique Visitors
    19,229 Page Views

The site is completely hand coded and works without a database (faster by trial), and has been made to integrate different affiliate networks for each page, as well as CPM ads for the future.

    Rubburlayouts.com domain expires in 2010.
The site has been ranking well, already, for some competitive keyword phrases, which I haven’t had time to push them to the second or first page yet (which would drastically improve the visits).

The site also includes 4 premium Photobucket accounts. The way it works, when a layout is generated, the program randomly chooses one of the four accounts so users’ MySpace bandwidth is evenly distributed.

With the site, I will include my marketing, SEO plans, and support for the first week (through aim or e-mail).

Bidding starts at 2,999 and the BIN is 11,999

If your photobucket accounts are premium (unlimited bandwidth) why do you bother having 4 different accounts, wouldnt the load be the same regardless? Also why are you selling?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Hi Jeff, thanks for your questions. The photobucket accounts are "unlimited" premium accounts, however what most people don't know is that "unlimited" is not unlimited. They're each good for a lot of bandwidth (thousands of gb/mo). If you come close to their mark, they will e-mail you and let you know that you are using too much and need to take action (they have excellent customer support). Of course, the accounts are using no where near what they can hold since the site is just starting to grow.

As you can tell I have done almost nothing with the site except finish it. I'm selling it because I got a new job (in online marketing with real estate) and don't have the time to start-up this site. I'm getting paid a very decent salary, which is one of the reasons I have no incentive to keep it any longer.

I'm not going to tell you false things like "this site only requires a few hours a week." It will require a good amount of time to get it going (or at least powerful networking sites if you own them already as many of you already do), but since it's based on a viral platform, it can also make a LOT of money because the market IS there.

It was planned to be one of the largest MySpace layout sites. When you're able to get it there, you won't need your day job, and you'll probably be hiring design employees.

I keep getting asked "how old is the rubburlayouts.com domain"

It was registered in May 07 and expires in 2010

Just for the record, you can learn a lot of information about a domain doing a simple whois search.

    Thank you for your interest
