The cannot connect error is coming from the ad network (AdShown.com), which I also previously owned. I just sold it and the new owner obviously hasn't gotten everything uploaded yet.

The cannot connect error is not from Baby Name Database at all, so you have nothing to worry about. You will be able to place your AdSense where that cannot connect error is showing up (all ads can be changed from a single page file I've setup so you can easily have your ads shown throughout the site).
