PR4, 30k Unique/month, $100-$200 revenue w/ no work

Never done this before, bear with me...

This site was launched January 1, 2006 and immediately drew interest. It's now PR4, gets around 30k unique visitors a month, is a revenue sharing site so you only get 50% of revenue which is about $100-$200 a month right now with NO work and NO advertising and very little ads. I haven't touched this site in months and it's still growing.

It's a community, revenue sharing blogging site. Users have their own blogs, profiles, buddylists, private messaging, image galleries, etc. There's 2,516 members currently. It runs itself.

Here's some stats for the month of November:

53,900 pages indexed by Google. Majority of traffic comes from Google.

This site has a LOT of potential if somebody could just put in some time.

PLUS! It comes with an additional site, www.reviewparty.com. It shares the users database, allowing users to login both sites using the same username/password. It doesn't get much traffic, I haven't been tracking it, though.

    SITES ARE SOLD

Do you have a BIN price in mind? And what script is it using for the backend?

It's running Drupal 4.6 but is highly customized. Full featured content management system, easy admin, has a spam filter, too.

No BIN - I'm not sure what the site is worth. I'll take the highest bidder on December 1st.

Nice site :)... BIN is usually 10-20 months profit, depending on the site age, etc... If your profit is between $100 and $200 per month, then you shouldn't let it go under $1500. Hope this helps, cheers!

    Very nice site!

One question though, what if a member does abuse the Adsense by clicking?

Does Google or will Google close "Your" account because of the domain or will they just close that member's account?

    Again, nice site!

You can go to http://bloggerparty.com/archive to see the posts per day, but it doesn't give you a number.

The front page displays the most recent postings, and they're all dated.

Also, to answer some other questions...

The revenue sharing works by displaying on each person's blog page their Adsense Publisher ID ads 50% of the time, and the other 50% it will display the site owner's. On the front page, it's always the owner's. If someone does not enter their publisher ID, it's the owner's.

As for click fraud, I've had no bad experiences with it and nobody on the site has been a target as of yet. I don't think the risk is any greater than any other site. Some members DO try to add their sites to illegal traffic exchanges - the majority of them have been blocked via .htaccess and new sites can easily be added to it to be blocked, as well.

The site also has a way for members to moderate other posts, by flagging them as inappropriate. There is a core group of members who have been there from the beginning and are very loyal. I have never been very involved with the community and will not be missed.

You can see a history of the Adsense payments at http://www.bloggerparty.com/google-payments.jpg - as you can see the revenue was greater when I was investing time in it.

The site currently runs on my own server where I host several other sites. It's the cheapest dedicated server possible from cari.net. I think it will run fine on a higher end shared hosting platform. I'm not sure on the bandwidth besides what the awstats says, I don't really keep track.

The highest bid is currently $550!

I was given an offer I couldn't refuse and the sites have been sold. I apologize for not announcing the BIN in time and thank everyone for your patience.
