PR3 website with PR6 Pages?

    Hey there. I'm fairly new to these forums and see that all of you know a lot more about this stuff than me. So I thought Id ask for clarification on something regarding page rank.

    I have a PR3 website (by looking at the homepage) but I have a couple posts in the site that registers a PR6. How is that possible?

    PR means Page Rank not site rank - so, your homepage has PR 3 but couple of other pages have PR 6. It means PR 6 pages have more backlinks.

    As said, PR is per page not site, so it can happen to have an higher PR on a subpage then homepage.

    so Different pages, different ranks even on same domain

    Of course your internal pages have more back links than home page that y ur internal pages PR is more than home page ........
