    The domain name alone for this site is highly prized as it has a large cool-factor. :cool:

    I recently updated the design for the first site to include more strategically placed ads, and as a result the CTR has gone up considerably. The daily average for last month was $1.04; this month it's $1.31, so it should make around $36-$40. The daily hits have gone from around 230/day to 270/day.

    The second site is a project of mine that is pretty well backlinked on search engines, but I never completely finished it. It's basically a photo-browsing/rating/commenting site with hot girls, weird pictures, illusions, etc.

    Both sites have tremendous potential for being revenue generating giants if someone has the time to put into it. Unfortunately, I do not. I would also like to note that I do not spend money on advertising, so the cost is purely server based.

    But this site makes 35$ a month, and these guys ask 50$ a month. I don't see any profit.

    Yeah, we got them for a good price when they were having a sale. I'd also recommend haggling with the support, as that is often helpful with any host.

    Also, two things:

    1. I host a bunch of sites on the server, which more than pays for the cost
    2. I split the cost with my buddy, thus cutting the cost in half

    Of course, you don't HAVE to use Hivelocity. I was just being descriptive.
