Most of my new sites got PR3 after the last update.
Is it that easy to get to PR3?

Not bad for first listing, you should be encouraged. Pr4 is easily achievable, then it starts getting interesting.....

I've heard PR 5-6 is hard. But the first lot aren't as hard.

If you want to put monetary value on it, PR3 takes about $30 to achieve for me. (and thats because I cant be bothered to do it the free way :) )

Just subit your site to directorys with nice pr and tarde some links and keep the content fresh and you will have no problem, getting threes or 4's

    Lol you're a bastard:D

For myself i've done my site and i still have no PR, i'm submitting manually to some very good web directories everyday but my site is quite new.

Do you know when i will start to see some changes about my PR?

A PR3 is easy - it only takes as little as one PR4 or PR5 backlink. Each increase in PR requires approximately 6 - 8X the PR weight. A PR5 can be obtained with a fair amount of work. A PR6 starts to become very difficult.

PR means nothing for SERPS if the backslinks aren't from relevant sites.

Yah, PR3 is relatively easy, shouldn't take more than a few links... and Ditto about PR means nothing for SERPS... I've got a PR5 site that has never ranked in Google after 1 year at PR5 (probably sandboxed / penlized for aggressive link building).

You really shouldn't be concerned about the PR if it's that low.. pr1, pr2, pr3, pr4.. who cares?

As I mentioned somewhere I have a PR2 site and it's getting all the traffic from google and paying off pretty good.

If you want some google traffic and ranks just try to get as many as possible links from sites related to your theme, even if their pr is low..

... If you want to impress your girlfriend (boyfriend?) with a high PR site, just go buy some high pr link/s and get it done..

    :D

not too hard, i put 2 sites online before this update happened, 1 just after the previous pr update whic went to a 4, i got that from just posting my link in my sig, the other site i got online about 3 weeks before the update and got that to a pr2 just by doing the posting link in sig, so its not too hard to get something upto 4, but after that is when it gets harder

PR3 is pretty easy and can be achieved with just a couple of links.

Yep, like others said, 3 and 4 are not difficult. 5 is already a bit of a challenge.
