PR3 Dog Training Website for sale

Up for sale is a website full of information about dog training and some other resources thrown in.

Description: This site was started at the end of 2005 after getting the idea for a dog related site. Unfortunately it never got the work it needed to go big, and I don’t have the time to continue with it.

The articles in the “free article” section came from Ezine Articles, and the articles in the “training directory” are PLR articles I got somewhere. I didn’t do much with the site all year, but I did an update in September.

I added the PLR articles and I also added some free software to the site, called Pet Medical Recorder. If you start an email list for the site, this could be a free bonus you give to subscribers.

I also updated the code just a tad. I added a style sheet to streamline the site, made sure the pages had unique titles, and made use of H1 tags. Note that these changes (and some link exchanges) all happened just in September, meaning that the site will hopefully see improved rankings in the near future.

There was also a bit of an increase in traffic and revenue in September since I did some forum and blog posting.

Traffic and Revenue: Not too much of either, but it's there.

Most of the traffic comes from MSN. Otherwise it comes from link partners, which you can find on the links.htm and resources.htm pages (and some page footers.) We’re talking 200-400 uniques per month.

Income is from Google Adsense. The site made about $5 in August and about $12 in September. I tried putting YPN on one page, but there is not enough traffic to get a worthwhile comparison. (Site has a good CTR though.)

A total of $39.30 since February, when the site started.

Promotion: I have never done much to promote this site. I did the link exchanges and posted a few comments on related blogs and in related forums. I also have a few Adwords campaigns that I setup a while back, but they cost under $1 per month. [Full link exchange details will be provided.]

(Along with the site I will throw in a related email account, forum accounts, and a list of related blogs you could comment on. It's just a word document I took some notes in.)
