Reason for sale: I bought this over 6 months ago and am doing nothing with it.

There are no scripts on on the site at all! You will need to add them.

It comes with admin backend panel for adding software, categories and also included user registration and mailer.

I'm pretty bad at transferring sites so you have to be patient with me, as far as transferring the mysql etc.

The site gets about 60 uniques a month but it is PR2 which is , but the domain is ok.

I did some link promotion I think.

You will receive the site and content, script and all bits and pieces.

Domain is registered for 4 more months. Free push from godaddy.

I will do my best to ensure a smooth transition.

This is my first site sale so please don't kill me - prefer someone to buy it who knows what they are doing with transferring stuff too.

is it easy to change the layout (CSS)?

 

This script is Software Index Script, a script you can find on the internet for free. It's not opensource but it's either freeware or shareware since it has resell rights.

Yes, that is correct. I bought the site ready made as a turnkey site from sitepoint. The script that it uses is variably free (usually as a bonus) or sold in a resell rights pack. Since I am transferring the whole site as sold it is a complete unit.

I paid much more than I'm asking and this site was PR0 before I did a bit of link building or whatever I did to get it to PR2.

As regards modifying the template, it uses includes for the left and right columns, the main page fonts and other page elements are controlled by a standard style sheet.

There is not a complete separation between business logic and content such as in a smarty template system, but it's not too hard to modify. If you are a complete web design newbie, then you may get a little confused and probably should not buy it.

Probably would suit someone who has done a basic tutorial at least on php.
Knows css a little or can read instructions and has a decent grasp of html, that is if you are going to go down the road of modifying it yourself, otherwise any competent web designer can do it for you easily.

actually I thought about to buy your site, but its to much work since I didn't like the design, I think a clean install is easier to start with (and I have already some domain names for this kind of projects)
