Hello every one i have 2 questions, Q: my blog, http://virtualbuzz.blogspot.com is having pr2 but no traffic, Q2: why my blogs internal pages are having pr0 ?
Internal pages usually have pr0 even on digg.com new ones have that. PR means nothing, pr0 site often is higher inserps than PR ones. PR doesnt matter in serps position.
Why would you expect traffic from PR? When you go to a site do you ever even look at the PR? People go to sites because they are driven there, usually from the serps or social media. How are you driving visitors to your site?
On what keywords would you like your visitors to find you? I mean, what keywords are you targeting in Google for your blog?
well, there are many reason, first your keyword is not niche...to many competition, second you need some social link, article submission, commenting and other, just give some comment and link dofollow and noffolow .
PR has no correlation with traffic. What you need to be targetting, with regards to google, is your position in search results (SERPs). If you achieve a high position for a well searched for keyword then you will get visitors. Be careful which keywords you target though as some search phrases don't get as many as people expect!
The page rank and ranking are not directly related to each other. For PR, link exchange is sufficient. But for better ranking, unique content and backlinks from relevant resources are must.
For generating traffic, you should get backlinks from website which has huge traffic or you can concentrate on Off-page & Social Media Network websites. Your blog must be new and would be pending for next Google Update.
PR has not much related to the traffic. PR related to the backlink. That's no suprise to see PR2 with no traffic To get traffic, work on SERP
Well guys thank you so much, As im newbie in SEO, so i dont know wether PR is a way of traffic or not, so what keywords should i use for my blog ?
pr DOESN'T mean traffic! seo and link building means traffic. And your internal pages does not have pr because your homepage pr is too small.
PR is a measure of the site's quality and importance. It doesn't automatically mean traffic, but sites with a high pr are more likely to rank better in the serps than their low pr competitors, given that everything else is equal. You need to build lots of incoming links from directories, articles, blogs, social networks sites and similar theme sites to gain pr and serps. Also, you might want to think about building links to your internal pages also, and not just to your home page in order to increase your internal pages' pr values. Finally, you might want to add a rel="nofollow" tag to your outgoing links (not to your link partners) if you don't want your site to leak pr.
You should do this more often ... place some threads like this one in forums and you're gonna get some curious people viewing your blog
