schlottke, Are you making any point or just posting this out of general interest. And do you think the list is exhaustive?
It's not exhaustive. Also, not sure the point of listing individual pages, rather than just the site. If you want to list every PR10 page, you would need to list hundreds more within adobe.com, google.com, etc.
Yeah not all that exhaustive. There usually is several people keeping track of these lists. I have the same list that continues with PR9 sites as well such as ebay and yahoo and so on. These lists are neat and can be helpful if you know how to use them, otherwise they would be pointless.
The adobe page on the top is the highest ranked PR10 (that I am aware of.) It is higher than the base page, by hundreds of thousands of links. I found the information interesting, thought it would be of some use to people.
And yes it appears some of these have dropped to 9s. I guess I learned my lesson for searching this info and posting it. Won't do that again- heh.
I've looked at these lists before and find them interesting. I usually take some time and review 5 or so sites and check the various seo tactics that have been used to acheive the ranking. While I've always found the lists interesting, I've never found them to be to terribly useful in my day to day work.
Me either. Not like Im going to be contacting these guys for a link- Just thought it was interesting informaton that someone may find useful
http://www.compar.com/infopool/articles/PR-calculation.html I suggest reading this- very imformative.
Thanks. I've just come across this page also, but find it difficult to read (get my head around). Thanks anyway.
Bob is a bright guy (though suprisingly mean too.. lol), so when you understand all that, youll be well off.
Schlottke, Don't worry about it. Yes most of us experts have seen these lists for years but it is still fun to look at. You can't please everyone.
Cool. Problem is that if you guys wrote it and understand it - then fine. But I'm the end-user and you're targeting the article at me (i.e. having no knowledge of SEO stuff) and it's not easy to look at or understand.
