How hard would it be to make a website go to PR10 just out of curiosity. And what would a PR10 website be worth approximately.
it would take a long time the site would have to be active for allot of years and constantly updated and have allot of high pr sites linked to it. I have only seen one site with pr 10 (GOOGLE)
PR 10 sites would be worth a fortune if they were ever for sale. But there are only a handful of PR10 sites in the whole world. You would need perfect HTML on the site, superfast page load time, various other features of onpage SEO perfectly optimised. As well as literally 100,000's of dofollow links going into your site.
You couldn't use SEO on its own to get a PR10 site. The site would have to be so good that it would attract links from some extremely powerful sources. Twitter.com is PR9 and they have millions of backlinks, including a ton of very powerful links from high traffic, high PR sites. If you had a PR10 site, the PR would be so irrelevant to you or anyone else since it would mean that you would have a fantastic site that is probably known throughout the world and worth millions of dollars. How hard would it be? Next to impossible! Keep dreaming mate
It's not impossible but extremely unlikely. There are very few PR10 sites, and I'm sure with each update it becomes harder for a site to become PR10
Create your own search engine and work to make it the the most popular in the world. Or you could buy Google.
the benifits you will get from search engine in pr 10 will be ten times less then the benifits your pr 10 site will give you by its own potential.the pr craze ends if you reach pr7 not only because it gets more difficult but beacause your site will have great potential that you would not need to worry to much on organic seo
In theory, if your site got pr10 x 7 sites pointing to your site, you would got pr10 even it's just 7 backlinks.
Time, Money and Consistent Precision can guide you to attain PR10 but for any single individual website to reach PR10 is biggest dream
Perfect HTML, fast load times and onpage SEO being perfectly optimized have absolutely nothing to do with PageRank. Those may affect your URL's ranking in the SERPs for a particular keyword, but not PageRank/PR. LendingTree had over 4.7 million links according to Yahoo! Site Explorer... MOST were DOFOLLOW and they are only a PR7 site. @OP I wouldn't even bother trying... You'd need millions of inbound links.
How hard? Well, If you are the Google's owner, you got it. If you have an average website, it's just not possible at all. That's a wrong information. They both got a PR9. It's impossible to get it. The only PR10 website is Google. Dudes, do not focus just on Page Rank, this factor is not going to make you rich!!
Its not impossible but you definitely need something out of the blue to get that high PR, the concepts like twitter etc. take no time to get PR8-9 rankings.
