Im selling my PS3/Gaming Blog. Selling because i have other projects that im working on and updating the blog is abit of a hassle. The blog gets most of the traffic via social networks and the high serps the blog gets. For most search terms, it appears on atleast the top 5 pages of google. So when you do write a hot subject, you will be flooded with traffic.

For most of the stories you write, they'll get pinged to almost most of the highest ping networks around. With moments, you will start receiving hits to the pages you recently published.
The blog has a self updating sitemap, so every time you update your blog, you don't have to update your sitemap, it does it for you. Also with the powerful theme, any keywords you type, like CFW or MW3. The blog will auto link the content to relevant posts, an example can be found here: http://ps3hq.com/ps-vita-cfw/

You will see that Sony, PS Vita And PS3 are autolinked to other posts containing the same tag in it. This indeed does help serps and user interaction.

Social networking

As you can see, on every post, there is a small facebook like button, every time a user press's the like button, The post is shared on there wall. And if they comment on it on facebook, or the blog, the blog will pull the comments from facebook.

When a new post is made, it sends the post to the blogs facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Ps3hq/136691649723865 , and the blogs twitter page, http://www.twitter.com//PS3HQ_COM




Again, these are powerful methods which indeed do bring the blog alot of traffic.

The blog is equipped with all mentioned above, these cann all be found on the homepage, these all entice the users to interact with the site, for example, the polls make it easy for users to voice there opinion without the hassle of typing/registering.

All of these options are easily managed in the admin panel.

Operation:

The website has a featured slider and many other option, all of these can be configured in the admin panel. You can also add adsense to the website to further raise revenue from the site.

The site earns its revenue from selling text links in the sidebar. Currently, the site is not being monetised due to it being sold.

The site only gets traffic when you make good posts, if you leave it there, it will die.
