Just my firefox address bar - just shows PR, Alexa and assorted website tools. It's just frozen as 6 on my bar ....
I always refer to the below to check/verify page rank. http://www.checkpagerank.net/ you could also look at the url's cache Not to get your hopes up, but a Google PR update IS expected soon (every 3 months or so currently). So perhaps it's a bit of a Google dance that bodes well for your site. Though, in my experience, back links often indicate PR. The more backlinks, the higher your PR is likely to be... among other reasons of course. Yahoo site explorer is a good place to base your site links - and refer back to every month to see how many more you got/made
The problem is ... it's impossible for the blog to be PR 6 as it's only been up for 5 days ... sure domain is aged but that wont carry enough wait for a PR6 ... basically I got excited to early ... and wanted to check what others were seeing. I generally use that and it was the first place that I checked and got the PR n/a ... will be wathcing and hoping ... but it'd be a small miracle.
It was parked for a while with Godaddy ... was on the sales rack for a while. Wasn't bad ... obviously affected my laptop ...
I just rechecked and it said pr6 then na, I think your site maybe heading for a pr6 hmm will keep an eye on this one
That's great .... well done .... ~~~~~ Look all you haters - I am going to rip out my Missus's Camera and take some bloody footage of this crap .... I understand that no one else will see it and it shows a N/A .... but it's my freaking bar that's frozen on PR6 - even this morning.
sometimes the pr toolbar "sticks" and doesn't reload properly, leaving a residual pr from the last site you visited and tricking you into thinking that your site has the same pr as the site you previously visited.
I am aware of that - I have been online for the past 4 years with this crap .... it's been there for 24 hours now though .... and if I visit DP (for example) the PR bar is normal - if I return to my site the PR6 is back again - I refresh and it's still there - turn off the LapTop and go back and it's still there ....
