PR0 Site, Where do I start?

    Hi Everyone,

    I own a site for a while now, its still PR0 despite I have been blog a lot. I beleive I need some PR links feed back to my site. Being a PR0, is there anyone will exchange PR links with me?

    Please help

    How old is your site? Now it might take couple of months to update the PR value. Don't concern too much for PR just do the manual link building work in slow and steady pace.

    Hi webdev007,

    Thank you for your fast reply.
    Almost a year now, I been told PR update every 60 days. Surely I am not doing something right to puch the PR up. What should be my direction now?

    Have you looked at your logs? You should be able to see if any of the SE's are spidering you, and how often, which is a better sign of link love than that little green bar on the G tool bar.

    Once you get the site seeded with a few links it just comes down to good old fashioned link building. If it is a quality site, start out with a few good directories - BOTW, JoeAnt, DMOZ, etc. - which will get the site found and spidered. If you have any other sites, drop some contextual links in where appropriate. If you know other webmasters, ask them to do the same.

    I have post text link in many many many places, but according to my SEOBOOK tool bar, I have only got 1 external link feed back to my site. I mean, those link I post about 6 months ago, should be no excuse as why search engine didn't locate them. I try to find site with high PR before I post or blog. Nothing seems helping. As a layman, I really need advise as where to go to build them links.
