    I agree with JHardy, I would not say that PR and SERP have no relation at all. Lets agree on something, in equal circunstances of SERP, PR should be taken into consideration, if not all the Google algorithm model of page rank would not make real sense. I agree that content is a really important factor which is decisive in certain circunstances but still I think we can not affirm that SERP and PR have no relationship at all.

    Both are important.. 5 backlinks from PR 2 is still better than 1 backlink from PR3..

    I don't agree if PR is not related to SERP.

    PR is related with SERP. But PR is not the most important thing.
    There are many things effect the SERP like: Title, Header, content, backlinks, authority, etc.

    PR is just one of them

    PR is still related to serp...Pr is related to backlinks, serp is related to backlinks... These 3 are closely related to each other and one cannot stand alone without any of these 3.

    Page age may be a factor. whydowork.com is from 03', "do" is in the domain and it may have better "on-page" factors than the competition.

    But why are you trying to obtain a do-follow blog list when there are do-follow blog search engines that allow you to find relevant content.

    High PR doesn't means that site will be always on the top.Other things also matter in search results.Since PR updation takes time but search results vary in very short spam of time. So never compare site search engine ranking with PR
