I hear a lot of people put down pr0 backlinks yet when I check my competition backlinks, they have links from tons of pr0 sites. It seems that a pr0 site can help establish your keyword ranking in serps if you use the right anchor text in your link. For example, if my anchor text is Asian Dating and I use those keywords in my backlink, even in tons of pr0 sites, it still helps establish my keyword ranking in google search. Is this how others see it?
It does help, but if you have thousands of PR0 backlinks as opposed to your competitor who has 100 PR7 backlinks, which is better?
It could help, but in order to suceed you need to build tons of backlinks from sites of that kind. Would be better to get few links from PR sites, but quality ones.
A variety of links help always. It would not be natural for you to only have backlinks from really high PR pages and/or sites, so PR0 links diversify the link footprint.
What matters is what is natural. So a normal website will have tons of pr0 links. Say for example sake you have a blogroll link; so if the blog has a majority of pr0 pages, then you have many pr0 links. Or say you submit to average directory, it is pr0.
Just think of the movie 300. Would you rather have 300 Spartans fighting for you or 10,000 normal soldiers fighting for you? Of course 300 Spartans are going to do far more for you. If you don't know, watch the movie. Sorry for the analogy, I am in a movie mood.
