    I'm getting sick of PR this and PR that. Why not try selling your directory with something useful, not some useless fad.

    I know when I start promoting my directory I will be shouting out useful features and benefits not " we have a current PR of 3 and it will go up to alteast PR5 in the next update, now please hand over $40.

    Just my 2c:confused:

    Probably PR3 web directory

    Personally I'm working on my PR1 directory, you can get in on the ground floor now for $50 per year, by September it will be PR15. Don't miss this chance.

    From my experience, most directory advertisers are looking for link popularity. As PageRank is a widely understood representation of the link popularity weight of a site, it seems like a perfectly legitimate sales technique to me.

    well I guess we have to agree to disagree, I'm surprised though, I thought you guys would of agreed that a directory should be more.....a LOT more than just PR.

    Like what...It may help if you provide what is more important than PR when deciding whether or not to pay for a directory.

    Traffic is the biggest one but what others are there?

    From observations:

    PR0 Directory = 20-30 submisions monthly (average)
    PR6 Directory = 80-100 submissions monthly (average)

    Webmasters who say they are not interested in PR are lieing or they are in the minority.

    My PR5 gets around 80 a day

    When it was a PR3 it got around 15 a day

    Sounds like a similar trend. Not sure why you get the same amount of submissions in a day that I get in a month :(
