What exactly does a "PR*" mean? I'm thinking PR2 means a page we can find in the 2nd result page.. Did I get it right? lol. thanks and really sorry for this n00b-ish question. lol
PR means you have relevant content and you have quality backlinks. Having PR2 doesn't mean that you can see your site on the 2nd page of search engine result.
Hi sweet heart, PR means based on the wesite traffic(popularity) google will give some rank to the sites from 1 to 10. using google toolbar we can access this pr. PR means Page rank
No it’s not like that because a site with a PR of 7 can also be on the second or the first page. Getting a site up for the top results in the SERP’s mainly depends on the SEO and the back-links of the site. PageRank is given to a particular page by Google on its importance and relevancy of that page.
Page rank is simply based on the number of inbound links that your sites get. Each sites that links to you gives out some part of its PR. ( the PR that leaks/bleeds is dependent on the current PR of the site, and the number of outbounds it has.)
