PR went from grey N/A to PR0 yesterday - What does this mean?

    My site is: http://www.lolroulette.com/

I've been posting alot here lately trying to get my site to rank in Google.

Just last week for the first time ever, some of my pages (my blog) was indexed instantly after I made a post.

Yesterday, I noticed that my blog went to Pagerank 0 when it used to be a grey N/A bar. Not only the blog, but about 20 of my main pages on my site had a pagerank increase.

Now, I know there isn't a major pagerank update going on and I've noticed that really good pages like Google have increased pagerank from N/A to 0 inbetween major updates.

So if Google thinks my site is that important, why is my site stuck on result 50 of the search listings for everything from it's domain name search term: "lol roulette" to every single page on my site? None of this makes sense at all. If Google penalized me, why is it indexing my blog every single day now and why is my pagerank increasing on tons of my pages right now!? All I really care about right now is getting visitors and rankings so SOMEONE can find my blog at least.

I believe you change to a PR0 once Google indexes you.

Your PageRank should actually update during the next update, which won't be long I hope.

That means your site is indexed, but still not well optimased!
You will have to SEO it until nex PR update to reach high score.

Is it a new site? It's an indication your site is being crawled and getting indexed too. For new sites, it's probably leaping from sandbox.

If it was N/A previously (and it's 0 now), it means Googlebot has picked up and indexed your site successfully. However, it also means that your site hasn't enough high quality backlinks from other sites to get a higher PR.

Pr can flutuate I have a blog that gets cached instantly everytime I add new post but it is on page 1 for its keyword if your blog is getting cached everytime you add a post, it must be badly optimised to be on result 50

PR0 is nothing but an acknowledgment of your site being indexed by google for the rankings!
Getting PR0 is akin to just entering a race in the qualifying rounds... where as getting good position in serps is like getting qualified to race in the final rounds!

You have miles to go to get your site elevated to the next level!

Leaping from the "grey" to a PR0 is indication you are doing the right things online as Google has indexed your page. Keeping adding more pages with valuable content and you see at least a PR1 on Google's next update.

    congrats!

No, that was an index update, not a pagerank update. Page rank shouldn't go up during index updates, however I once had a domain name drop from 3 to 0 during an index update.

Next page rank update is estimated for April.

This is what I don't get. My pages were already indexed months ago, but were ranking for nothing. Now suddenly the PR just went from N/A to 0. My site is not new either. The domain is about 4 years old and I put some of these pages on over 2 years ago. Though most of the pages were added last June.

Also, I've never seen the Pagerank go from N/A to PR1 or higher between major pagerank updates. I've only seen pages like the Google forum going to PR 0 within a few days, then when the major update happens, it goes up to 3 or 4.
