I have never used PRWeb, but I was thinkin about utilizing them soon, but I am unsure of how well it would translate for me as far as a clothing company goes. I have a ton of trendy design geared towards the younger crowd. Mostly T-Shirt's with slogans and stuff. Any idea if PRWeb would be worthwhile for a company such as this?
You can certainly try their free press release service and see how that goes, or buy the relatively inexpensive $30 package. You generally get 4-7 days worth of value depending on how much news is generated in your category. In addition, you should place your press releases in many of the free article websites. It's amazing how many are actually picked up by Google, often even ahead of PRWeb.
Last month I use PRWeb service for free, there is no significant result. In the future I will pay some $$ to gain better result. Still don't know which price schema to choose.
A lot will depend on the quality of your press release, and how newsworthy it is - particularly if you're using the distribution service to get real media coverage (as opposed to just trying to increase the backlinks to your site). If you have a good news angle, and a decent press release, then PR web can work for you, but I would also recommend sending your press release to relevant publications manually, too.
