Hi, Guys, This my second post I have 2 blogs but my first blog received PR2 one month ago. But I am not satisfied for traffic. Daily visitors 40 to 50 approximately. Actually I ask you how much difference between PR / traffic. Problem is this if page impression are increased so CTR is decreased. And If page impression are decrease so CTR are automatically increased. Why? send valuable comments for us. Thanks with best regards.
Its all about niche of your blog. Wallpapers can't do much and Blogger Templates is not a very uncommon niche. My experience Bloggers don't really click on ads.
Blogs don't receive PR... pages do... that's why they call it PAGE RANK and not BLOG RANK. And Page Rank is not an indicator of Traffic... it's a measurement as to how much respect Google has for each page it crawls.
As the previous poster said, PR is Googles rating of your site. The more visitors your have the higher your PR, this in turn will push your site up the search engines.
PR have no relation with the adsense earning CTR is the click through rate, it is all about the clicks If your impression increase and the number of clicks increase more, then your CTR will increase too
Traffic is really down to your backlinks, where as PR will get you traffic if it ranks you high enough in google. So really it depends on the niche your in, if you are top of google for your keyword and not happy then you will want to try rank for better keywords or give up and do a different site.
Pr alone will not increase traffic. Build quality links and gain good serps and grab the first 3 positions in google for the desired keyword then you get floos of traffic.
PR is totally unrelated to traffic. I have PR3 pages/blogs that get literally no traffic. They were set up as part of a link network and thats it. They see at most 5 visitors per month whereas I have other pages that are PR1 getting 4,000 unique visitors per month. Really, page rank doesn't seem to be much of a factor for anything anymore other than how powerful the links you are sending out are.
Fenderkid is right, PR doesn’t really matter…actually the only moment when the pr will count would be when you will want to build links to your website using high pr websites… anyway, PR has nothing to do with adsense nor it will necessarily improve your number of visitors, the only thing could bring u more money with adsense is traffic, get as many visitors as possible through seo, social media, video marketing…
Yea that is very much true Brianb, pr doesn't really matter and the methods that you stated in getting traffic to the adsense site is very much valid.
A blog doesn't receive a pagerank. Individual pages in the blog are page ranked. The home page will have a page rank and each individual page within the blog will have it's own pagerank.
Traffic is really important if you are going to run a site for adsense. Get traffic first before you focus for pr.
