Hello I'm a new user on this forum and it looks really great. I hope to learn a lot from you guys... I had a question: I started a blog a month back that has been unranked for that time, but in the last day has been given a PR0. I never really built links (i think i have only two backlinks) and i have never tried the spammy methods..) When i saw the PR0, i did some research and have two different viewpoints. One says the PR0 is for a site with low merit(not necessarily poopy content--just low merit as far as popularity goes). The other says that google has weighed your site and because of some other reason (spam, a redirect etc) has given it a PR0 as a warning/ban. If the first reason is true, then no worries, i know the blog is new and i have to just slowly build links and pay my dues... However im worried that the second reason may be true because my titles look similar (blogger does this automatically), and also because i registered a separate domain and some weird redirection may be the cause, or some other reason that i don't know about.. the site btw is guitarbinge.com any ideas?
no it has nothing to do with ban, u just need 1 good link from a big site and ull see the quick turnover
like the guys before said.. you're new! it takes months to get a PR unless you hit the google update just in time and you did a little homework on getting great backlinks.. Like I told my friend who just started a blog.. do as much work and homework as you can to get a lot of backlinks preferrably from high PR blogs/sites and make sure the sites are relevant. Goodluck!
well its not a ban but you need more backlinks try some services provided in the services section like directory submissions and many more methods out there
