    the dancing of PR never stopped last time around, for my sites. I haven't seen new PR, just the old stuff recycled.

    Some sites do get a mid PR update update. But there has been no official TBPR update since Sep, and everyone is right in predicting around mid Dec for next update.

    there are no "in between" PR updates. that's simply the old results that haven't fully propogated to all datacenters shifting back and forth between the datacenters that have updated.

    This means on some DCs its 6 & 5 on some.

    I'm seeing PR changes, but it looks like old data to me. My personal site lost it's PR according to the toolbar, but if anything it should show a jump because I've picked up some pretty decent links inadvertently.
