I guess the update is out. Even if I link my site on PR5 or PR6, they all have dropped. I have one site getting the N/A after PR2. Since the drop, my traffic is constantly increasing. I had about 20 uniques/day when PR3, about 80 Uniques/day when PR2 and now, it's N/A and get 200 uniques/day... I can't wait the next update. I hope to have PR-4, so maybe I'll get 1000 uniques/day...
i dnt understand hw u r relating the pagerank with traffic...search engine traffic will only come ur way, if u r in top10-20 of SERPs...its a google dance going on these days during which few new pages r flashing in top10 while established r thrown away further...but its not constant and will settle down with toolbar upadte...so may be u ll get good pr depending upon link building u did meanwhile but it dsnt mean that u ll enjoy high traffic...thus try n get sme quality and relevant backlinks with anchor text as ur keyword to fix ur position in top10 and enjoy huge traffic thereafter
Oh, no question. Since it dropped to PR0, it's #4 on Google for a good keyword with nice traffic. Before, it was PR3 and nowhere to be found, with no traffic...
The issue is how many visitors come from SE. If you reach 300 uniques/day with pr0 as comparison with 20 uniques/day with pr3, I doubt that your referrals is rapidly increasing.
definitely that's the reason for increased UVs or if its a SE traffic, may be u've got some gr8 unique content and good site architecture that made u rank good even my 5 month old site (PR1) is ranking good on page 1 for couple of competitive keywords after this update and that even without any significant link building!!! may be, on-page optimization did the trick...same in ur case..hope it lives longer! but there will never be a proportion of PR to traffic any ways its a win win for you...so best luck friend..and lets get back to some serious link building for our sites
