PR update?

    hey guys i wana know if the infamous PR update is over as yet! Two of my 3 PR sites became PR 1.. Lost PR in six other :mad: plz lemme know if it is over as yet!

    my sites don't usually update via the toolbar till a week or 3 after the "updates"
    truth be told, pr is always updating ;)

    There really is no way to know for sure. If your PR dropped you atleast know that you need to go get some good backlinks.

    Yes, google's just update on new year 2009. Some of My sites have been update PR also. I guess next time maybe a few months on site update but in the range of this time Google also may update the other pages of the sites. I gonna make more link back, improve seo and add more new content and see what it will be on Google PR update next time.

    There are still updates that are being done on some sites. But generally, most of the sites experience fluctuation in their page rank toolbar.

    If your Pr drop, that is loosing of back links, you can build quality links, then next updation gain PR. :cool:

    I think it's more live than ever .... as in updating more regularly .... but the toolbar only updates every few months. I don't know why everyone jumps up and down when the actual toolbar updates ? The toolbar PR is only for looks and isn't very effective to measure PR anymore.

    The PR update was on Dec 31. Some of my blogs have gained their page rank..

    Just continue building links from dofollow sites if you want to increase your PR and just wait for the next PR update

    My blog Have PageRank with PR 2 although aged only 24 days, and only have 6 posts, and maybe Google give as a gift for my new year :D

    I also believe that the actual PR changes ongoing.. it's just the toolbar that updates every few months.

    my blogs PR update was on dec 31st 2008. and now my toolbar is reflecting the same. but in your case only google can answer the fact.
