Fortunately, that's untrue as Matt Cutts answered a similar question in his blogs about this. He said: "PR updates are completely orthogonal" So it is nothing to do with BD update but maybe BD changes are keeping google guys busy as we should see an update by now.
It may be orthogonal but I have observed that a lot of sites have different PR information on BD servers compared to "standard" google data centers. If that is the case it would make sense for them to wait till all data centers are singing from the same hymn sheet
Dude, do your homework. Your so called "master-formula" that no one knows is actually very, very public. You can see the original google paper for this. And no, PR doesn't have anything to do with content. Next time, before getting pissed off, make sure you know what you're talking about.
1998 called, they want you to give them their article back. Now see if you can find a caveman to show me how to make a wheel.
False Alarm, False Alarm... I've seens this for weeks... Believe me, you hear about an update when it happends- see the top threads...
Content counts, if you write nice things about google you get a higher page rank, that is proven. Check out this link if you don't believe me: www.kissgooglesass.com jg123
Perhaps they are saying "old data" because the cached pages are old, it's the same number of previous BLs, they know their site has gained massive BLs and it's showing lower than current PR (i.e. old data)... so it's not really safe to assume that everyone who says "old data" is being stupid, there are many.. MANY intelligent people here who do a lot of research and know what they are talking about, as well as, or much better than anyone else here. Also, as has been proven again and again.. these ARE false alarms, those saying "old data" ARE correct, when there is a PR update, there will be a thread with 500 posts in like 5 hours.. lol. "I ROSE 2 PR!!" "DAMMIT I DROPPED PR!!!" etc.. on and on.. one sole guy with higher/lower PR is pretty much a guarantee a PR update didn't happen. From my limited experience of watching the last few.
