PR update cut off date.

I create new pages on my site daily and checked my inner pages.

Any page created on or before Oct. 8th was included in the PR update and all pages created on the 9th or later were not.

 

Same here. 13th October the date though.

 

Do you have pages created 9th - 12th that received PR?

 

Yeah I have the pages that were created on that dates. They have some PR.

 

Its been confusing to me.. when i open up my site the pr bar shows 4, but after just few hours it goes back to 3. And also the sub pages gone back to its original PR.
Can somebody explain to what is happening?
Does the google uodate not yet finish?

 

There are different data centers and all are in the proccess of updating so when you check it all depends on which data center you connect to. Your new PR should be stable in the next day or two.

 

I got '3' in morning '5' at 11 O'Clock and right now at 1 O'clock its back to '0'

Go to http://www.mcdar.net/ and click Data center Q check.

It's almost certain that the newer/higher PR you are seeing will be the one that will stick.

 

there is no higher pr in all datacenters! Does it mean that ther will be no pr update on my site?

 

If your PR is showing the same as before on all data centers chances are your PR will stay the same.

 

so sad for me... ive been expecting for an update for the past 3 months...
i had to wait for the next update again...

 

I went to mcdar for the tenth time. It shows 3 on some off the data centers. So will my PR remain 3 ???

 

If the PR3 is an upgrade (up or down) from your old PR, then more than likely yes.

it also show the same pr that i have.... Im getting hopeless in getting my update... Its been a hard work for me for the past 3 months... getting good links from reputable sites then it all ends up to nothing..

 

hey didn't you know yet that PR is just an ego trip? your traffic or SERP rank won't jump even if you get high PR or any PR. it's just a label... my advice would be to totally ignore PR and concentrate on where you rank for given keywords

 

yep i know that... its just that ive expecting too much in an upadate in my pr..
its very dissapointing when what you expect something and in the end it doesnt comes

 

dude i feel your pain, but at least you haven't been booted from the index, which is what happened to a lot of us on the 17th. i would give every single bit of PR i have to rank back in the top 10. or 20. or 50. anything but 200+

when a lot of people got hurt during florida and bourbon, i dismissed them as black hats who got what was coming to them. but it sure feels different when you're one of the refugees. i was super clean, ultra careful, and yet out the window i went. of course, there are some reassuring posts from people more patient than myself telling me that everything will be alright... but anyway you get my point. stop fretting your PR ;-)

 

sometimes you say that "google sucks" coz you dont get want you've always wanted too,but if you think it in a different way it could be a challenge for us SEO to stay in the game with the big G!.
